Packing Time
Whenever I pack for a journey, I usually do not have a problem figuring out what to throw into the duffle bag. It is pretty basic; make sure everything is in the same colour family so that you can mix and match to make many outfits, add three pairs of shoes (flip flops is a must for all trips), and don't forget the essential bathroom things. Easy! So as I pack for Grenada, I realize that I need to add a few extra items...
... classroom things, sunscreen, bug spray, a stylish hat and a CAT?
This is Pepper. She was rescued from the SPCA 2 years ago and has never left my side. We should have called her Shadow. Animals are amazing creatures who know and feel emotions on a level that we will not be able to understand. This cat knows that I am leaving her behind.
So Pepper and I will be finishing our packing tomorrow, since she plans to sleep on my clothes tonight.
Another Grenada fact:
Grenada is a volcanic island. The highest peak is called Mount St Catherine - 840 M. To compare, the highest peak at Mont Ste. Anne in Quebec is 800 M (one of my favourite summits to ski down). I wonder if I will have a chance to ski in Grenada?
We're so jealous... We tried but we (C & I) just couldn't fit in your luggage :(
