The Final Countdown!

Oh wow...it is almost time to go.  I have been preparing for this project since last October.  First was the application and interview process.  Then, after I was selected, it was time to select the students who would also be working on the project.

That time seems so long ago, and I have learned so much about the island of Grenada over the winter months.  The students who are travelling with us have been completing assignments and reports to prepare them for this journey as well.  We are in the final countdown and checking our packing lists.

Fact of the day:

Below is the Grenadian flag.  The image on the left hand side represents one of their main agricultural crops that Grenada is known for - NUTMEG!  The island is also known as the Isle of Spice for a reason!
